I know, my choice is not wrong...

It begins with my decision to choose language department as my major at senior high school. Some of my friends didn’t agree with me because they thought I was suitable to study science or social major. However, my language subjects were higher than sciences or socials. Besides deep of my heart, I love studying language.
It is true. I enjoyed my studying not only about language but also the history or the culture of the language I studied about. For example, I could study the language and the culture of France when I met the French native speaker in the 3rd grade. I also visited some temples in Central Java and watched the performance of Sendratari Ramayana in the study tour of language department. Besides the small amounts of students made us easier to understand every language we studied.
Because of my language major, it was easy for me to continue my study to English Department Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University Semarang. Studying in English Department gives me more opportunities to improve not only me English skills but also other languages, such as French, Korean, and Japanese. Taught by native speakers, it motivates me to take more knowledge of their language and their culture.

Most of people think science and social major are better than language because those two majors open more opportunities in the university. I can say it is wrong. The most important thing is you should enjoy your subject you love. Do not follow your friends or your parents if you do not agree with them. You should decide your own future by your own choices.
